If you decide to get married in March, alot of places offer some discounts because March is not a "prime" wedding month. We saved a little over $1750 at our reception hall because of that and still got the same service! Good luck with everything!
We haven't ruled out something in early April, but we're trying to avoid the easter area and the higher prices for everything by moving back into an increasingly popular wedding month. I've actually already looked up the last few years of Minnesota/South Dakota weather for late March and they haven't been bad at all, averaging around the 40-50 degrees with no snow, right when it starts to warm up. Our hope for a mid/late March was that it would be around the "spring break" time for those attending/teaching in schools so that they might have extra travel time without having to take days off.
Right now we're just trying to figure out what dates are available at the places we can afford. If we get a range, we can start asking around to make sure a specific date works for most people.

You can save me about 10 good romance or historical/romance type books or Steven King/Dean Kontz type thriller books. Don't mail them, just wrap them up for Christmas or something.
I want all car repair books, fishing books and well I will even take the sports books.....OK tell me now you dont have any of these????........Have a great weekend
I love them almost as much as free kittens. I need more cats! (lol!!!) Well, the county inspector doesn't think I do...in fact he said I shouldn't have as many as I do currently (lol).
Arghhh! I didn't realize there was more to your post after, "Who wants some free books?" I know, I forgot all about the kitties. But in my defense, giving away books is pretty exciting (for us)!
You always try these different recipes! i may have missed this but what are the green things? im sure it was delicious... but i doubt my family would touch it! they are picky! lol
Jenny, did I tell you I found my copy of Angels and Demons? I did. But I've started reading the Inkheart series again in anticipation of the next book.
That's just terrible about your uncle. I wonder how people get lung cancer who've never smoked. My great aunt had cirrhosis of the liver toward the end of her life, and she was a teetotaler. I never understood it.
Hey, I'll be reading your blog over here regularly now because I signed up for Google Reader! Anything with an RSS feed comes to me now. Yay! (This is a great way to keep up with my MySpace friends' blogs, too, the ones that haven't turned off their RSS feeds, that is.)
That was a good episode of Warehouse 13 tonight. Falling asleep. Will try to stay awake for a bit more #TWOK, but dubious. Goodnight!

March is a risky month weather wise, especially for all your Minnesota relatives and friends. I vote for late April or early May.
You should go for the 27th. It should be on an odd-numbered day.
Congratulations! I can't wait to hear Jenny's side and all the details of the wedding to come.

Remember, you can comment here, but if you want a book, e-mail us your book request so your address isn't available for everyone to see!

You need to let us know which books you're willing to part with!
I'm going to try this one. It looks like something Dad and Chris would like. Kate may even try it!
The green things are the red Swiss chard. Yeah, I had to look it up before we bought it, hehe. It's fun trying new recipes!
