I've read 40 out of this list.  Not too shabby!  Of course, I think there are plenty of books that should have made the list in place of plenty that are there (and why is The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe listed separately from The Chronicles of Narnia?).  Whatev.

Dave and I are leaving for South Dakota tomorrow after I get off work.  Hopefully we can make good time and get in town early enough to spend a little time with his parents before bed.  My parents and sister are driving up Friday morning to join us then (my brother has other plans).  Should be fun!

I finished The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan last night, and I half-heartedly started Into The Wild, the first book in the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, this afternoon.  I picked up a copy since it's so popular with kids, that way I'd know what it was all about for work, but it's not really my scene.  Talking cats?  Blah.  I'll finish it, but I hope I can find something awesome to bring to SoDak with me.

Alright, gotta finish up the laundry and clean up the kitchen after the mess I made baking cookies, and then it's off to bed!
