Dave and I went to the pool yesterday for the first time this summer. Our apartment complex has a big pool; it goes to 14 feet deep. My coworkers Faith and Jessica joined us, and we had a fun time. Except that we were there from about 11:30 until 2 p.m., and only applied sunscreen once. My back is very red (my swimsuit is a halter), and so are my shoulders and my thighs. I have no idea how my legs got burned! They never get any color, so I didn't put sunscreen on them. Oops. Dave is bright red from the middle of his chest and up. We both have to work today. I'm not looking forward to it. But except for the burns, it was fun, and I'm excited to go swimming again, hopefully with my sister.
Dave's last day at HuHut is in less than a week—next Wednesday. I'm excited.
Well, I thought I had more to say, but I think I'll go read my book now (Lock and Key, by Sarah Dessen).
A plus.
