Iron Man Rocks!

Tonight was awesome! I took an unusual route home after work in the hopes that Jenny would be heading home at the same time, and we met at an intersection facing each other! Sometimes we are too cute. She got to follow me the rest of the way home. :) We spontaneously decided to go see Iron Man at the downtown Grand theatre since it was releasing tonight. There was an early 9 PM showing and a midnight "official" release. We got tickets online for the 9 PM showing since we're old and we wouldn't have to worry about it selling out. For some reason movietickets.com was offering two different 'Adult' ticket prices: one for $8.50 and one for $6.50. I'm guessing one was supposed to be a student or matinee discount not available for that showing, but I still ordered the cheaper ones. :)

Jenny had to tutor and between my severe lack of sleep last night and having to get up to work at 6 this morning, I was nearly falling asleep waiting for her. After that, we went to Starbucks to pass a little time and have some delicious coffee. At the movies, one of Jenny's cool-geeky-quirky co-workers, Amanda, was there with some of her cool-geeky-quirky friends. They were really funny and we got to sit next to someone we knew instead of strangers, always a plus! There wasn't a wait and the theatre was actually only about half full. As for the movie, it was AWESOME!!! We both loved it! I almost want to see it again! As we left, some of the employees from HuHot were waiting in a HUGE waiting line for the midnight showing and I got to hear about some major drama at HuHot and I'm sure will be a MAJOR pain in my ass for the near future.

As an added bonus, the movie theatre stamped our parking garage ticket twice (you get up to three free hours for going to the theatre) so our extra-long stay in the garage was FREE! :D Now we're watching some great Thursday-night NBC shows. How could this night get any better?!?!?!

Here's a trailer for Iron Man if you haven't seen it yet. You need to go see it. It is awesome!
